Under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, 12 cooperation agreements have been concluded with partners to develop and restore generation and grids

“New generation projects that will add gigawatts to the power system as soon as possible are preferable for Ukraine,” – Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko.

"If you ask me what is better: long-term projects that will add 9-10 GW in 10 years or projects that will add 1 GW now, I will say: the earlier the better. For us, this is a matter of life and death,” – Halushchenko said.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, 12 cooperation agreements have been concluded with partners to develop and restore generation and grids:

📌 Memorandum of Understanding with Siemens Energy AG, important for the implementation of energy efficient technologies, decentralized electricity generation, and increased use of renewable energy sources;

📌 Memorandum of Understanding with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, which is important for the development of new combined heat and power projects by PJSC Ukrnafta based on the combined cycle turbine technology. This will make it possible to provide cities with heat and light in the face of Russian attacks;

📌 Memorandum of Cooperation between PJSC Ukrnafta and Deutsche Bank AG, which is important for financing the development of gas and combined cycle power plants for heat and power generation;

📌 Memorandum with GE Vernova, which offers solutions for the development of smart grids, in particular in Kharkiv and Ternopil regions;

📌 Memorandum of Understanding in the field of transition to renewable energy sources with GOLDBECK SOLAR Investment GmbH, which provides for the development of 500 MW of solar panels;

📌 Memorandum of Understanding in the field of transition to renewable energy sources with NOTUS Energy Invest Ukraine GmbH, which provides for the development of 120 MW of wind generation;

📌 Memorandum with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG and Naftogaz, important for the operation of underground gas storage facilities with a focus on decarbonization;

📌 Joint declaration with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is important in the transition to green energy and ensuring the stability of the Ukrainian energy sector;

📌 Memorandum of Understanding with Voith Hydro on the construction of new hydroelectric power plants by Ukrhydroproject PJSC, reconstruction of destroyed ones, and their maintenance;

📌 Memorandum of Understanding with the Swedish Development Financial Institution, which is important for the decentralization of the energy sector, in particular the use of biomass-based gas and steam turbines.

In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to launch the Norwegian-Ukrainian Energy Partnership 🇳🇴🇺🇦

Also, in the presence of Herman Galushchenko, an agreement was signed on the provision of financial support 🇩🇪🇺🇦 by Germany (through the KfW credit institution) for the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in the amount of EUR 30.4 million.

On November 13-14, 2024, the conference SUSTAINABLE RECOVERY AND INVESTMENT SUPPORT will be held in Warsaw during the international exhibition and conference Rebuild Ukraine: OPPORTUNITIES FOR UKRAINE'S ENERGY SECTOR REBUILD organized by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. The conference brings together representatives of Ukrainian and foreign authorities and business to discuss and resolve issues related to the rehabilitation of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, energy security, decentralization of energy generation, development of renewable energy sources, and outline plans for Ukraine's future as a European energy hub.

За координації Міністерство енергетики України укладено 12 угод про співпрацю з партнерами для розбудови та відновлення генерації і мереж:

📌 Меморандум про взаєморозуміння з Siemens Energy AG, важливий для впровадження енергоефективних технологій, децентралізованого виробництва електроенергії, збільшення використання ВДЕ;

📌 Меморандум про взаєморозуміння з Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, важливий для розроблення ПАТ «Укрнафта» нових проєктів комбінованого виробництва тепла та електроенергії на основі технології парогазових турбін. Це дасть можливість забезпечити міста теплом і світлом в умовах російських атак;

📌 Меморандум про співпрацю між ПАТ «Укрнафта» і Deutsche Bank AG, важливий для фінансування розбудови газових та парогазових електростанцій для виробництва тепла та електроенергії;

📌Меморандум з GE Vernova, який пропонує рішення для розбудови розумних мереж, зокрема у Харківській та Тернопільській областях;

📌 Меморандум про взаєморозуміння у сфері переходу на відновлювані джерела енергії з GOLDBECK SOLAR Investment GmbH, що передбачає розбудову 500 МВт сонячних батарей;

📌 Меморандум у сфері переходу на відновлювані джерела енергії з NOTUS Energy Invest Ukraine GmbH, що передбачає розбудову 120 МВт вітрової генерації;

📌 Меморандум з Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG та НАК «Нафтогаз», важливий для роботи підземних газових сховищ з акцентом на декарбонізацію;

📌 Спільна декларація з Німецькою Торгово-промисловою палатою, важлива у переході до зеленої енергетики та забезпечення стабільності українського енергосектору;

📌 Меморандум про взаєморозуміння з Voith Hydro щодо будівництва ПрАТ «Укргідропроект» нових гідроелектростанцій та реконструкції зруйнованих, проведення їх технічного обслуговування;

📌 Меморандум про взаєморозуміння зі Swedish Development Financial Institution, важливий для децентралізації енергосектору, зокрема використання газових та парових турбін на основі біомаси.

Окрім цього, було підписано Меморандум про започаткування 🇳🇴🇺🇦 норвезько-українського енергетичного партнерства.

Також у присутності Герман Галущенко підписано Угоду про надання 🇩🇪🇺🇦Німеччиною (через кредитну установу KfW) фінансової підтримки енергетичної інфраструктури України на суму 30,4 млн євро.

13-14 листопада 2024 року у Варшаві під час міжнародної виставки-конференції Rebuild Ukraine проходитиме конференція SUSTAINABLE RECOVERY AND INVESTMENT SUPPORT: OPPORTUNITIES FOR UKRAINE`S ENERGY SECTOR REBUILD огранізована Міністерство енергетики України. Конференція об'єднує представників української та іноземної влади та бізнесу для обговорення та вирішення питань відновлення об’єктів енергетичної інфраструктури України, енергетичної безпеки, децентралізації енергогенерації, розвитку ВЕД, а також окреслення планів на перспективу України як енергетичного хабу Європи.
