Ukraine has joined The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E)
Ukrenergo, the state-owned transmission system operator in Ukraine, will become the 40th member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity from 1 January 2024!
Ukrenergo has already been an observer member of the association since April 2022, and in November 2023, it fulfilled all the technical requirements necessary to ensure a permanent connection between the power systems of continental Europe and Ukraine.
This is an important and historic step towards European integration, which will greatly contribute to improving energy security, resilience of our power system, and stability of electricity supply.
