The channel provides truthful content for russian-speaking audiences about events in Ukraine, Eastern Europe, russia, and the world

Ukrainian journalists created the channel in response to anti-Ukrainian propaganda, particularly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The channel's name reflects the Ukrainian commitment to defending civilization against barbarism, such as the Putin regime or other totalitarian regimes.
