European Investment Bank will finance the best energy efficiency projects
Within the frameworks of financial agreement between Ukraine and European Investment Bank (EIB) - Energy efficiency of civil buildings in Ukraine - the project contest has began.
Funding will be provided for the thermal modernisation of public buildings, but also for construction works (including repair of damage caused by the military aggression of russia).
To participate in the selection process, project proposals with supporting documents should be submitted to UPBEE.proposal@mtu.gov.ua by 10 December 2023.
The purpose of the financial agreement is to implement energy efficiency measures in public buildings, including hospitals, schools, higher education institutions, kindergartens, pharmacies, libraries, etc.
Small/medium-sized cities and territorial communities throughout Ukraine are eligible to apply, except for those located in the area of military operations or under temporary occupation/surrounding.
Applications must be submitted by local governments. The selection process will take place in two stages:
- For participants with ready-made project documentation
- For participants without ready-made project documentation (after pre-selection, such participants will be required to prepare documentation and submit it for project estimation)
