implementation of strategic projects

Uman - IMPLEMENTATION OF BIOFUEL AND MODERNIZATION OF HEAT SUPPLY

Partners/participants/donors: funding from Sweden for centralized heating in UkraineProgram: DemoUkrainaDHInvestment: €970,000This demonstration project had significant social importance, as the neighborhood where the modernization took place had not received heating throughout the entire heating season. Additionally, the heat supplied was insufficient to maintain normal temperatures in the premises. Thanks to the demonstration project, the situation was improved.A school was connected to the reconstructed heating system. Previously, the school was heated by a coal boiler, which violated sanitary standards.Approximately two kilometers of the underground main line were in a state of emergency, with regular leaks of the heat carrier observed. Both the leaks and the ongoing excavation and repair works caused significant problems for the residents living near the route.
