Construction of Cogeneration Units for the City’s Heat Supply Facilities

Autonomous energy supply for critical infrastructure and enhanced urban energy resilience through the installation of 24 cogeneration units with a total capacity of 78 MW.

    Project Partners: European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB), GIZ, KfW, USAID, and governments of partner countries.

Construction of Underground Schools

Creation of modern, barrier-free underground spaces to ensure uninterrupted in-person education during air raids and other threats.

Kulindorovo Industrial Park

Development of Odesa’s industrial potential through modern industrial and logistics infrastructure, investment attraction, and job creation in priority sectors.

Odesa Innovation Park Industrial Park

Creation of an industrial and innovation cluster to develop the processing industry, logistics, alternative energy, and modern manufacturing.


    LLC “Infox”, LLC “Euroterminal”, LLC “Ukrcloudsystem”, and other enterprises are already operating within the park.Prospective Partners: Potential investors, the industrial park management company, manufacturing, logistics, and development companies.

Establishment of a Backup Power Supply System for Centralised Water Supply Facilities

Stage 1 (2026): Phase 1 — 35% of capacity (23.7 MW) — €5.44 million.
Stage 2 (2027): Phase 2 — 65% of capacity (43.8 MW) — €10.22 million.

Restoration and Improvement of the Playground at Odesa Preschool Education Institution No. 141

Partners / Participants / Donors: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine; City of Yokohama (Japan); Japanese donors who contributed to the crowdfunding campaign.Objective: To create a modern, safe and inclusive space for children’s recreation, development and social interaction following damage to the preschool and its playground caused by a missile strike in 2023.What Was Done: As part of a crowdfunding campaign held from 5 August to 30 September 2025, 294 donors contributed JPY 3,365,000 (approximately USD 22,000). The funds were used to install 25 pieces of new playground equipment, including swings, roundabouts and children’s play structures. The renovated playground was opened in April 2026.
