Children’s Diagnostic Center with a connection to the inpatient building and a civil defense shelter of City Children’s Hospital No. 2

The aim of the project is to improve the diagnosis of diseases among children and ensure the protection of staff and patients by eliminating or reducing the anticipated impacts of hazardous factors that may arise as part of dangerous events during emergencies or military (combat) actions.

Project: “DemoUkrainaDH in the City of Mykolaiv”

Recipient: KU MMR “Mykolaiv City Energy Efficiency Center”Partners / Participants / Donors: NEFCO
Objective: The project will reduce heat energy consumption by 6,000 MWh and decrease CO₂ emissions by approximately 2,500 tons per year through the transition to biofuel and reduction of heat supply losses. Grant funds are allocated to finance services, goods, and works within the “DemoUkrainaDH in the City of Mykolaiv” project.

Non-Revenue Water: Water Supply System Reconstruction

Partners / Participants / Donors: Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO). Danish Sustainable Infrastructure Finance (DSIF) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
Progress:The project includes the replacement of water supply networks in the Korabelnyi District, reconstruction of pumping stations, and installation of flow meters in multi-story buildings. Currently, the technical specifications for the design and execution tender are being prepared.
Impact:Over 70,000 residents of the district will benefit from the improvements.

Development of the Water Supply and Sewerage System

Partners / Participants / Donors: European Investment Bank
Project Amount: €31.08 million (Loan funds: €15.04 million)
Recipient: MKP “Mykolaivvodokanal”

Progress:
The project involves the reconstruction of the screening building at the wastewater treatment facilities, three gravity sewer collectors, improvement of the efficiency of the second-lift pumping stations, and upgrades to the wastewater treatment facilities.

RLF – Emergency Water Supply Support Project in Mykolaiv
