A MAJOR PROJECT TO REVIVE MARIUPOL – MARIUPOL REBORN, WHICH WILL BE PRESENTED AT REBUILD UKRAINE 2023
Ukraine's international partners, European cities and Ukrainian businesses, together with the Mariupol City Council, have joined forces to rebuild the city according to the best international practices. So far, the EBRD, the USAID Economic Support for Ukraine Project, the municipalities of Utrecht, Vilnius, Gdansk and Lviv, the businesses of Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov, and the international communities of urbanists and architects have already joined Mariupol Reborn. The project is open to new partners who want to help bring Ukrainian Mariupol back to life.

Before the invasion and destruction, Mariupol was one of the most promising cities in Ukraine. In a short time, it has become a city of new opportunities, rapid development and exciting events. A city worth living in.
It was home to Metinvest Group's powerful metallurgical enterprises, «Azovstal» and «Ilyich Iron and Steel Plant of Mariupol», and the region's largest commercial seaport, Mariupol Commercial Sea Port, and a rapidly growing security, trade and IT sector.
Mariupol's own development strategy has turned the city into a symbol of the revived Ukrainian Donbas. It attracted investment, implemented large projects and made life comfortable.

ILYICH IRON AND STEEL WORKS OF MARIUPOL, PJSC
It is one of Ukraine's largest exporters. It has a full metallurgical cycle and supplies raw materials to other metallurgical enterprises in Ukraine. The plant exports its products to more than 50 countries.
MAGMA, LLC
Is is a modern production complex that manufactures complex technical products: non-standard equipment, lifting and handling equipment and spare parts for metallurgical and mining enterprises, sea and river ports, machinery and equipment for coke plants.
INGAS, LLC
It is one of the leading Ukrainian producers and suppliers of high-purity inert gases, calibration and technical gas mixtures, as well as special-purpose mixtures in the Ukrainian and foreign markets.
AGRICULTURE AS OF 23.02.2022
The main enterprise in the city's agricultural sector is ILLICH-AGRO DONBAS LLC, which grows cereals, legumes and oilseeds, and grain crops.
