CONSTRUCTION OF A LINEAR ACCELERATOR AT MUNICIPAL CLINICAL HOSPITAL NO. 4

There are more than 1 million cancer patients in Ukraine, with 140,000 people falling ill every year. In Dnipro, the only radiotherapy department is at the regional clinical oncology dispensary, which serves residents of the entire region. This is extremely insufficient. Unfortunately, patients can wait 3 months or more to receive radiotherapy.
In order to provide modern and timely radiotherapy to at least 2,500 cancer patients a year at City Clinical Hospital No. 4, the project will purchase a linear accelerator and design and build a radiotherapy unit.

The purpose of the reconstruction: concentration of highly qualified specialists, the most advanced medical and diagnostic equipment, and implementation of the latest treatment technologies.
Expected results: provision of inpatient care that meets modern medical care requirements, significant improvement in the quality of diagnosis and treatment, creation of conditions for comfortable stay of 150 patients and 245 medical staff, increased accessibility for people with limited mobility, implementation of European standards for modernisation of equipment and networks with due regard to energy efficiency requirements, reduction of heat consumption, and energy savings.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDINGS OF THE MUNICIPAL INSTITUTION - DNIPRO CITY CHILDREN'S CLINICAL HOSPITAL NO. 6

The project for the reconstruction of the Dnipro City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 6 buildings envisages the creation of a modern medical facility to provide patients with high-tech medical care, improve the conditions of stay for patients (Phase III - 98 beds for children and 41 beds for mothers, Phase IV - 78 beds for children and 34 beds for mothers) and the work of medical staff, increase accessibility for people with limited mobility, implement European standards for the modernisation of equipment and networks, taking into account energy efficiency requirements, reduced heat consumption, energy savings.

IMPROVING THE REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE HOSTILITIES

Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 16 is a multidisciplinary hospital providing round-the-clock emergency and routine care.
In order to improve the rehabilitation and recovery of combat casualties, patients with disabilities and amputees, it is planned to create a modern centre on the basis of the existing rehabilitation centre, which will implement all the principles of inclusiveness for working with patients with disabilities and international protocols for physical rehabilitation of wounded, and will be equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment, devices and simulators.

The overhaul of the outpatient clinic (facades with thermal insulation, insulated basement foundations and walls, windows, roofing, landscaping, porches, and pit) is necessary to significantly improve the working conditions of medical staff, increase the level and quality of medical care for patients, and reduce heat consumption.

The aim of the project is to create a universal multifunctional space for the whole family on the basis of the existing library, a modern transformation of the traditional library into a technological creative comfortable area with a small music hall, a music cafe and a children's interactive museum «Museum of Ukrainian Fairy Tales». Social significance of the project: fostering an internal sense of national identity; the possibility of psychological rehabilitation of people affected by military operations; increasing social capital for vulnerable groups such as young people, the elderly, the disabled, migrants and ethnic minorities; development of the intellectual and creative potential of the local community.

The main exclusive space of the library hub will be a library-space of Japanese comic book culture called Manga.

- uniting the community around global human values;
- high inclusiveness of the space - involvement of a wide range of categories of citizens, including those requiring special attention.

The aim of the project is to build a modern European-level sports complex for holding city, national and international athletics and other competitions by reconstructing the existing complex.
The reconstruction will make it possible to observe and participate in training and competitions in various sports.
After the reconstruction, the sports complex will be able to accommodate 2,100 people, including IDPs.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE SPORTS CENTRE

The purpose of the reconstruction is to create conditions in the sports complex for training and competitions in various sports. At the same time, the three-storey sports building is being reconstructed to increase its capacity from 98 to 180 people.
Currently, the facility is unfit for use and does not serve the city's residents. After the reconstruction, the facility will be able to accommodate 180 people, including IDPs. The project will improve the provision of sports services for the city's residents.
