CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SCHOOL FOR 1080 PUPILS

As a result of the hostilities in Chernihiv, 70% of educational institutions were damaged, including 2 schools that were completely destroyed and cannot be restored. These schools were located in the same district of the city - Podusivka. With the construction of the new school, we want to replace the two previous existing ones. This will also solve the problem for children and their parents with daily transfers to other schools in other parts of the city, as there are no other schools in the area.

REBUILDING THE DESTROYED LOKOMOTIV STADIUM

The Lokomotiv stadium is home to the Desna specialised children's and youth football school of the Olympic reserve, which currently has 400 pupils aged 7 to 18. As a result of shelling and bombardment, Chernihiv's training facilities were damaged and rendered unusable for educational purposes.
The project envisages the construction of two gyms, a football field and a stand for 1500 spectators. The project has an important social mission, as it will enable children to play various sports, such as football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, athletics, dancing, gymnastics and many others. This will help solve the problems of adolescence and engage children in physical education and development.

CONSTRUCTION OF DISTRIBUTED GENERATION FACILITIES IN CHERNIHIV (AT OTKE BOILER HOUSES)

The total electricity generated by the four cogeneration units is 2,677 kW, and the total electricity consumption of the boiler houses is about 850 kW.
Thus, by installing 4 such units, the company will be able to fully meet its own electricity needs and will additionally be able to redirect about 1800 kW to the general grid.
As a result, this will allow creating alternative heat supply facilities for about 45% of consumers (about 28,000 subscribers, 12 schools, 13 kindergartens and 3 hospitals) of the total number of subscribers of OTKE JSC in Chernihiv and will significantly increase the reliability of electricity supply in case of sudden power outages of existing boiler houses from the city's power grids.

REPLACEMENT OF A STEAM TURBINE WITH A 60MW TG-1 GENERATOR AT TEPLOCOMUNENERGO MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE
OF THE CHERNIHIV CITY COUNCIL
(CHERNIHIV THERMAL POWER PLANT)

On 24.03.2022, during the synchronisation of turbine generator No. 1 with the power grid, another massive shelling and bombardment of the adjacent territory of the plant took place, which led to damage to turbine generator No. 1.
Since the main source of electricity connected to the power grids of CHERNIHIVOBLENERGO JSC is Chernihiv CHPP, which generates 92% of the region's electricity, the restoration of the G-1 turbogenerator significantly increases the reliability, manoeuvrability, partial redundancy of not only the Chernihiv CHPP station, but also the entire Chernihiv power node with the allocated power from the United Energy System of Ukraine. In the mode of operation, the separated Chernihiv power node will have enough power to supply the main critical infrastructure of not only Chernihiv, but also Nizhyn, Pryluky and the own needs of the main substations of the Central Power System with higher voltage, which will allow synchronisation back to the United Power System of Ukraine.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CHEMICAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT OF THE TEPLOCOMUNENERGO MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE OF THE CHERNIHIV CITY COUNCIL

- provide combined heat and power plant with high-quality desalinated and softened water in accordance with the rules of technical operation;
- increase the capacity of the water softening plant from 130t/h to 200t/h;
- save reagent consumption;
- automate processes at the water treatment plant.
The reconstruction of the chemical water treatment plant at Chernihivska CHPP will improve the automation of the water treatment process and allow to move away from the use of large volumes of chemically hazardous substances and reduce the cost of treated water while improving its quality.

REPLACEMENT OF THE EXCITATION SYSTEM WITH A G-2 KP OF THE MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE
OF THE CHERNIHIV CITY COUNCIL

Chernihivska combined heat and power plant has a turbine generator station number 2 (TG-2) equipped with a semiconductor-based excitation system of the TVG-1000/460UHL4 type.
Under the operating conditions caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation, this equipment was subjected to additional loads and does not meet the standards of regulatory documents during the daytime.
Therefore, it needs to be replaced and upgraded with modern ones:
- excitation system, which is based on a microprocessor;
- relay protection and automation based on microprocessor terminals;
- magnetic field damping machine, 1BB and 2BB input machines for new high-speed automatic transfer switches;
- 10 kV G-2 oil circuit breaker for vacuum circuit breaker.
In the mode of operation, the stand-alone Chernihiv power unit will be able to supply the main critical infrastructure of not only Chernihiv, but also Nizhyn, Pryluky and the main substations of the Central Power System with higher voltage.

Construction of highly manoeuvrable generation based on a complex of gas piston generators with a total capacity of 50 MW

This complex will allow us to cover morning and evening peak loads in the power grid within its capacity at a high price position in the balancing market. The entire complex is capable of rapid load changes within 10-15 minutes.
At the same time, the waste heat boiler makes it possible to generate additional heat energy to provide our customers with hot water in summer and heat in winter.
The service area of the municipal enterprise Teplocomunenergo of the Chernihiv City Council (Chernihiv CHPP) includes 586 residential buildings, 24 pre-schools, 15 secondary schools, 11 educational institutions, 17 medical facilities and 1,184 legal entities in Chernihiv, which is more than 40% of the city's housing stock and social facilities. In other words, about 70,000 residents of Chernihiv depend on the operation of Chernihiv combined heat and power plant.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CENTRAL PARK OF CULTURE AND RECREATION

The Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Chernihiv is located in a green area, close to the Desna River and the stadium. The park is a favourite destination for families as it offers entertainment for all tastes. However, a lot of the equipment is outdated and needs to be updated, as it is becoming more and more dangerous to operate every year.
A city park plays an important role in the city, as it is one of the places to spend weekends and an opportunity to relax in nature. The park can provide rides for children and adults, bike paths, walking paths, zip-lines, extreme recreation and much more.

Reconstruction of the Podusivka water pumping station at Chernihivvodokanal

The water pumping station No. 2 ‘Podusivka’ was heavily damaged as a result of the Russian military actions. Prior to the full-scale invasion, WPS No. 2 supplied 34% of the total water consumption in Chernihiv, with a maximum capacity of 30,000 m3 per day.

This project involves two phases: the first will see the reconstruction of the water pumping station, and the second will see the construction of a water treatment plant. The reconstruction of WTP No. 2 will use modern energy-efficient technologies, including the construction of a solar power plant and the use of heat pumps.
