💬 This year at URC2025, Ukraine has secured dozens of strategic agreements that are already being transformed into financial support, investment packages and long-term partnerships.

And while there are still many challenges ahead, #URC2025 is like a global brainstorming session with a monetary backing: from macro-financial stability to building new schools and logistics hubs across Ukraine.

Vitaliy Nabok, Policy and Data Analyst at the Institute for Analysis and Advocacy, is leading his digest from #URC2025 in real time. Among the key points:

💸 The European Commission announced a proposal for the fourth tranche of the Ukraine Facility - up to €3.05 billion in August.

💸 ERA: Ukraine received the sixth tranche of €1bn under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine.

💸 Switzerland announced long-term assistance of CHF 5 billion (€4.8 billion) until 2036.

💸 European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - €500 million in investments, including €220 million in seed money. Priorities include renewable energy, infrastructure, digitalisation, industry, and critical materials.

In addition to this:

✔ PREPARE Ukraine programme with the World Bank launched - $200 million, including $44.3 million in the form of an initial grant.

✔ An agreement was signed between BIO Invest and Bank Lviv for €5 million.

✔ A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on access to Italian financial mechanisms: insurance of up to €1.5 billion for banks, mixed financing for communities, and the purchase of Italian goods for reconstruction.

✔ Agreements for €2.3 billion were also signed with the EBRD, EIB, IFC, KfW, BGK, AFD. Areas of focus: SMEs, energy recovery, infrastructure.

✔ The Ministry of Economy signed a Memorandum with Italian financial institutions on export credit financing.

✔ An agreement was signed between the Ukrainian Agrarian Council and Italian agrarian associations to provide machinery and invest in processing.

✔ Memorandum signed by USPA and Ukrainian Reconstruction Consortium - partnership on modernisation of port infrastructure.

✔ Westinghouse Electric Company and Energoatom announced the signing of key new agreements that will allow the deployment of full-scale production facilities in Ukraine for the manufacture of nuclear fuel components compatible with Westinghouse technologies.

And this is just the beginning. More agreements, project launches, real changes in communities, new partners, and the opening of financing, construction, and reforms are ahead.

✔ Також укладено угоди на €2,3 млрд з EBRD, EIB, IFC, KfW, BGK, AFD. Напрями: МСП, відновлення енергетики, інфраструктура.

✔ Підписано Меморандум Мінекономіки з італійськими фінустановами про експортно-кредитне фінансування.

✔ Укладено угодуміж Українською аграрною радою та італійськими аграрними асоціаціями — надання техніки та інвестиції у переробку.

✔ Підписано Меморандум АМПУ та Ukrainian Reconstruction Consortium — партнерство щодо модернізації портової інфраструктури.

✔ Westinghouse Electric Company та НАЕК «Енергоатом» оголосили про підписання ключових нових угод, які дозволять розгорнути повноцінні потужності з виготовлення в Україні компонентів ядерного палива, сумісного з технологіями Westinghouse.

І це лише початок. Попереду — ще більше угод, запуск проєктів, реальні зміни в громадах, нові партнери, відкриття фінансування, будівництва та реформи.
