According to the statement made by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the World Bank will provide Ukraine with an additional $200 million for energy restoration. The agreement was signed in Washington with World Bank Vice President Anna Bjerde.

The restoration of Ukraine will begin this year, with energy identified as one of the priority areas. The funds received from the World Bank will be used to restore networks and heating systems in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and cities in the Chernihiv region.

During the meeting with representatives of the World Bank, cooperation within the interdepartmental donor coordination platform called "Financial Ramstein" was also discussed. A project on military risk insurance for foreign investments is being prepared for implementation, which is a key tool for attracting these investments now, without waiting for the end of the war.
