Finland to allocate an additional €40 million for arms purchases for Ukraine

📍 At the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC-2026) in Gdańsk, the Prime Minister of Finland, Petteri Orpo, announced a new contribution to the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) initiative. These funds will be used for the rapid procurement of essential weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🖇️ “Today, I am proud to announce that my government has decided to allocate an additional 40 million euros to this initiative,” stated Petteri Orpo.

💸 Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Finland has already provided Ukraine with 33 packages of military and logistical assistance, reaffirming its systematic support for Ukrainian defense capabilities.

📍 На Конференції з питань відновлення України (URC-2026) у Ґданську Прем’єр-міністр Фінляндії Петтері Орпо оголосив про новий внесок до ініціативи PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List). Ці кошти будуть спрямовані на оперативну закупівлю необхідного озброєння для Збройних Сил України.
