In Ukraine, there are over 1 million cancer patients, with 140,000 new cases each year. In Dnipro, there is currently only one radiation therapy department at the regional clinical oncological dispensary, serving residents from the entire region. This is woefully inadequate. Unfortunately, patients may have to wait for radiation therapy for 3 months or more.
